Ironrock Webb Energy Group’s experienced landmen, GIS specialists, and abstractors provide quality services to the oil and gas industry across the United States, and specifically the great state of Texas. Our team at Ironrock Webb Energy Group has over 140 years combined expertise, knowledge, and experience in the oil and gas land service industry.

Kirk E. Webb,

President/Principal

Kirk brings a wealth of knowledge to his role managing and directing Ironrock Webb Energy Group. Kirk has over 30 years of oil and gas industry experience, and he has oil in his blood – his father was a pioneering geologist with prospects and discoveries all over the United States, and his brothers have been in the industry for decades as well. Kirk’s experience includes extensive work with geophysical surveys, lease checks, mineral take-offs, well production history research, abstracts of title preparation, lease acquisitions, mapping, right of way and easement acquisitions, curing title defects, and surface damage settlements. Kirk has a great deal of hands-on experience in state and federal regulatory matters, particularly the Texas General Land Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Railroad Commission, Bureau of Land Management, and Native American Tribal Associations. Kirk is an active member of the Houston Association of Professional Landmen, Austin Professional Landman Association, American Association of Professional Landmen, Texas Oil and Gas Association, and the Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners Association.

James “Jimmy” L. Starr CPL,

Project Mgr./Senior Landman

Originally from Tyler, Texas, Jimmy got his start as a petroleum landman in 1974 while conducting his first lease check near the Spindletop Field in Jefferson County, Texas. Since then, Jimmy has traveled throughout the lower 48 of the United States to provide quality land services to select clients of the Ironrock Webb Energy Group. Jimmy has been involved in all facets of the petroleum land industry and is an excellent problem solver. Jimmy is an active member of the Houston Association of Professional Landmen and the American Association of Professional Landmen.

Mark M. Dickson,

Project Mgr./Senior Landman

With over 44 years as a Petroleum Landman, Mark grew up in the land business. Mark’s father was a pioneer petroleum landman and oil scout for multiple oil firms in Houston, Texas. “The apple doesn’t fall from the tree” is an understatement for Mark. At just 10 years old, Mark began coloring land maps for his father on weekends. Mark found his niche as a petroleum landman in 1975 and was hired as an in-house landman. Since then, Mark has worked across Texas performing title research, curing title defects, engaging in well analysis, settling surface damages, and acquiring oil, gas, and mineral leases for select clients of Ironrock Webb Energy Group.

Siga Pliodzinskas,

GIS Specialist

Siga earned a Geographic Information Science (GIS) Analyst Certificate from Houston Community College in 2006. Previously, Siga earned a bachelor’s degree in Russian Philology from Siauliai University in Lithuania. Since then, she has been doing mapping for Ironrock Webb Energy Group, LLC – creating unit maps, pipeline right-of-way maps, plotting parcels from deed descriptions and creating leasehold maps for multiple projects. With her knowledge and skill set, Siga can generate any combination of a multi-layer map that may be requested by the client.
